I rarely write reviews, but I had to tell everyone what a great gane this is. The atmosphere is very intense and creepy with excellant background sounds and music that helps draw you into the game. The game itself is challenging. I play these kinds of games a lot and am very good but this one kept me challenged all the way through. definately worth the money to buy. I highly recommend it.

I agree with the other posts. This game is worth buying. The story is excellent, graphics fantastic, and the sound supurb.
If I have any complaints whatsoever, it would be finding my way around. It is complicated and when I got lost (that is one big ol' estate) it took a while to figure out where to go.
Just a hint, the map is great, but he is making the map as he goes along in the story, so it doesn't show all the places until you have been there. Search.. search.. search the areas you are in to find additional places.
The hidden objects are few and far between, but the mini games are extremely challenging.
Highly recommend this one and can't wait for the next from these designers.

I found the puzzles (which you must solve in order to continue the game) to be very hard. I shouldn't have to spend a full day trying to solve them to continue. Otherwise, it has been interesting

I agree with AverageGranni all the way the game had a very creepy atmosphere. Play with the sounds on! I jumped in my seat several times. (you never knew when something would jump out at you)
I am very good at these type of games, love puzzles. And these puzzles where fun to solve. This game was one of the best HOG I played, worth the money to buy it.

This was a great game - really fabulous. I would have liked for the map to allow you to jump to different locations, but that's a minor point. There were probably at least 50 scenes, which was great for the variety of the gameplay, but you could get a little lost. I frequently had to use the map to remember how to get back to a room of interest. Maybe the makers thought that after all their hard work, they wanted you to keep revisiting the scenes to appreciate their fantastic artwork. All-in-all a terrific game, and I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent game. I bought it and have played it for hours at a time. The graphics are very good and the game play is fascinating. Definitely recommend this one!!
